Grantee Profile

The Center on Community Philanthropy at the Clinton School provides a forum for broad debate, and exploration of the new and best ways that philanthropy can challenge and transform the conditions of poverty, injustice, racism and the lack of opportunity. While the site of the Center’s work is the Clinton School, the audience is worldwide, extending far beyond the school’s students. Rather than being a place for simply teaching about philanthropy, it is a place for learning about philanthropy in a way that will become understood and practiced by a new wave of donors, foundation board and staff members, community leaders, and policy decision-makers.
