Conditions in trans communities can change rapidly due to increased visibility and transphobic attacks by individuals and institutions. With this understanding, the Fund for Trans Generations launched the Rapid Response Fund to provide support for situations that require immediate response as well as for proactive activities that pursue strategic opportunities.
FTG’s Rapid Response grants have supported a wide variety of activities, including but not limited to funds to support: urgent mobilization efforts; emergency trainings, workshops, and legal clinics; and strategy planning sessions. FTG has provided rapid response funds to a diverse group of organizations in recent months, including:
