We advance funding practices that expand grassroots power. We provide flexible, unrestricted, multi-year support. We streamline processes, reduce administrative burden, and open doors to philanthropic resources for leaders who have been excluded from traditional funding systems.

We create spaces—virtually and in person—for shared cross ecosystem learning, strategic alignment, and collective problem-solving across race, gender, disability, economic justice, narrative change, community safety, and movement infrastructure so funders and movement leaders can align strategy, close gaps, and move resources more effectively.

We advance innovative projects and funding approaches rooted in grassroots leadership. We support new ideas emerging from organizers, pilot participatory and collaborative grantmaking, build pooled funds, and deploy rapid response. As political and cultural conditions shift, we align our strategies with what we are seeing on the ground and adapt our approach to meet the moment.

We demonstrate what movement-aligned philanthropy looks like in practice. By putting our values into practice and structuring our work around what organizers say is effective and what they need in order to sustain themselves in this work, we model how philanthropy can more meaningfully support justice movements and strengthen democracy.
