From 2017 to 2025, Borealis Philanthropy’s Communities Transforming Policing Fund (CTPF) invested over $25 million in local communities impacted by deadly and discriminatory policing practices to build power, increase police accountability and transparency, and redefine safety by advocating for investment in community-based programs and services as alternatives to police, jails, and prisons.
By resourcing work that addresses the immediate and rising harm caused by state violence, the CTPF fostered systemic changes that resulted in transformative safety responses.
