From 2019 to 2025, Borealis Philanthropy’s Racial Equity to Accelerate Change (REACH) Fund invested over $11 million in capacity builders, organizational strategists, field builders, and other variations of racial equity practitioners whose work supports the nonprofit ecosystem to pursue inclusive governance, transcend the limits of the existing nonprofit model, and arrive at more equitable outcomes for all.
By resourcing the architects of new ways of being and working together, the REACH Fund supported social change movements to build power, take collective action, and nurture communities of care and solidarity.
